Home Services AI proof of concept

An AI use case implementation, priced for direct award.

Eight weeks, $39.5K fixed, evaluation methodology included, and the production price quoted up front.

Scoped to be approvable.

At $39.5K fixed, the pilot sits under the $40K federal directed-contract band. One quote, one purchase order, one start date, no competition required.

The scope rule is stated before the work starts: informational-only, no personal information, no automated administrative decisions. That is what makes an AI pilot approvable by counsel, not just by IT.

Timeline

Eight weeks, four phases.

The evaluation criteria are written before the build starts, so week 7 is a measurement, not a negotiation.

  1. Weeks 1-2

Scope, data inventory and success criteria

We agree what the pilot must prove, inventory the content and systems it will use, and write the evaluation criteria down before anything is built.

  2. Weeks 3-6

    Build

The pilot is built on your content and your systems, not on demo data, so the evaluation reflects production reality.

  3. Week 7

    Structured evaluation

The pilot is tested against the criteria from weeks 1 and 2. The result is a documented outcome per criterion, not a demo impression.

  4. Week 8

Handover, documentation and the production quote

You get the working pilot, the evaluation report, the documentation, and the production plan with its price.

What you get for $39.5K.

Every deliverable is yours, whether or not you go to production.

  • A working pilot in your environment, on your content and systems.
  • An evaluation report against the pre-agreed criteria.
  • Responsible-AI documentation aligned with the federal Directive on Automated Decision-Making.
  • A production plan and a production price, on the same quote as the pilot.
  • All IP and prompts, yours. Code, configurations and data included.

Why the price is fixed.

The pilot price and the production price are on the same quote. You know the cost of scaling before you approve the pilot, so a proof of concept cannot become a change-order machine.

And if the evaluation says no, you keep every deliverable and walk away with a documented answer. That outcome is priced in, not penalized.

Asked before every pilot.

What happens if the evaluation fails?

You keep the working pilot, the evaluation report and the documentation, and you owe nothing beyond the fixed price. A documented no is a legitimate outcome of a proof of concept, and it is a cheaper answer than discovering the same thing in production.

Can this run inside the direct-award band?

Yes. At $39.5K fixed it sits under the $40K federal directed-contract band, and it is priced that way on purpose.

What data do you need?

Published or internal non-personal content, and access to the systems in scope. The scope rule excludes personal information entirely, and the data inventory in weeks 1 and 2 lists exactly what the pilot will touch before anything is built.

One quote covers the pilot and the production price.
